1. Agreement to terms

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") form a binding agreement between you and Resumeply, a product operated by Clementius LLP ("Resumeply", "we", "us", or "our") governing your access to and use of our website, resume and cover letter builder, templates, and related services (collectively, the "Service"). By creating an account, signing in, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service. 2. Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. You may create an account with an email and password, or sign in through a third-party provider such as Google or LinkedIn, in which case that provider's terms also apply to your use of their sign-in service.

3. Your content

You retain ownership of the resume, cover letter, and profile content you create or upload ("User Content"). You grant Resumeply a limited license to store, process, and display your User Content solely to operate and improve the Service, such as rendering previews and generating PDF downloads. You are solely responsible for the accuracy and legality of your User Content.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or to submit false or misleading information;
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to accounts, systems, or data;
Reverse engineer, scrape, or interfere with the operation of the Service;
Upload content that infringes the rights of a third party or contains malicious code.

5. Subscriptions, payments, cancellation & refunds

Certain features, downloads, or templates may require a one-time payment or a recurring subscription. Prices, billing frequency, and applicable taxes are shown before checkout. Payments are processed by our third-party payment providers (Razorpay and Cashfree); we do not store your full card or payment details.

Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period until cancelled. You can cancel a subscription at any time from your account settings; cancellation stops future renewals but does not end your access early — you keep access for the remainder of the period you already paid for. If you're unable to access your account, email us at[email protected] from the address on your account and we'll process the cancellation for you.

Because our plans unlock immediate access to premium templates, exports, and features, payments are non-refundable once a billing cycle has started, except where required by law. If you believe you were charged in error — for example, a duplicate charge or a failed transaction that still shows as paid — contact us and we will investigate and correct it. Any approved refund is issued to the original payment method and may take a few business days to reflect, depending on your bank or card issuer.

6. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or misuse the Service. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (such as ownership, disclaimers, and limitation of liability) will continue to apply.

7. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that using the Service will result in interview offers or job placement. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Resumeply will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

8. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you where appropriate. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
